- Listening: note, table and map completion, multiple choice and matching question types
- Time management across on-screen Reading passages
- Skimming and scanning strategy for all three Reading passage types
- Common trap-answer patterns in both Listening and Reading
Part 2 — Writing
- Academic Task 1: describing graphs, charts, processes and diagrams
- General Training Task 1: formal, semi-formal and informal letter writing
- Task 2: building a clear position and developing an argument, for either module
- On-screen typing speed and self-editing within the 40-minute limit
Part 3 — Speaking
- Part 1: introduction and everyday-topic questions
- Part 2: the long turn — structuring two minutes of fluent speech from a cue card
- Part 3: discussion — extending ideas and using discourse markers naturally
- Pronunciation, fluency and coherence: the criteria examiners actually score

How you get certified
